Derren Brown Using Conversational Hypnosis
In this article I am going to be speaking about conversational hypnosis. It is a technique which you can use to influence people’s minds and many people have become famous using this technique.
An example of a person who is very well known within the UK for his brilliant conversational hypnosis skills is a magician called Derren Brown. He is very often on TV putting these skills into practice with astonishing results.
Derren Brown’s skills are so amazing that they extend to enabling most people to simply forget anything. For example, in an episode of one of his TV programs, he asked a few unsuspecting people on an underground train which stop they planned to get off at.
When the person answered his question, Derren would then speak to them for a few moments. Next time he asks the question of where they will be getting off, they honestly cannot tell him. He then talks at them a bit more and miraculously they can remember their stop again.
On another episode he walked up to someone in the street and told him to take 5000 out of his bank account and give it to him. Because this particular person was under Derren’s hypnosis spell he was powerless to resist so he walked over to the bank and got the money.
Derren then erased the memory from this persons mind and they had absolutely no idea that they had done this. Even when they were showed the video of the events taking place they still had no recollection of it.
Obviously this was a TV program so Derren didn’t keep the money he was just demonstrating his skills. Unfortunately there are people like Derren that do this for real. In America a professional hypnotist went on a crime spree by hypnotising bank workers and shop workers. They were just handing him money with no idea that they were doing it.
Conversational hypnosis I think you’ll agree is a very powerful technique. It can be used for a wide range of things – for example it has a very high success rate with allowing people to overcome and addiction of some sort.
