Precisely What Is Covert Hypnosis?

May 28th, 2011 by Arnie Crisostomo

Almost everyone has seen a hypnosis show-the hypnotists calls some members from the audience up on stage, hypnotizes them, and before very long, they’re clucking just like a chicken or dancing the Macarena in front of hundreds, if not thousands, of people. This kind of hypnosis, for show, is very not the same as what is called covert hypnosis. Covert Hypnosis happens in a conversation between a couple that would, if observed from the outside, appear to be a totally normal conversation.

Covert Hypnosis is one thing that happens when a hypnotist ‘talks’ to the unconscious mind of some other person. The individual being hypnotized will not notice the hypnosis, and also the hypnotist will be very subtle in his or her attempt.

The goal of covert hypnosis would be to convince the person undergoing hypnosis to alter their behavior in some way-to stop smoking, for example, in order to convince a potential customer about the worth of a product for sale.

Covert Hypnosis uses carefully selected words, movements, facial expressions and gestures to speak with an individual’s subconscious mind. The objective of covert hypnosis would be to convince an individual to change his or her mind while letting the individual accept is as true was his or her idea to begin with. Covert Hypnosis is sometimes called “sleight of mouth,” a play on the common phrase “sleight of hand” that describes the quick handwork of the magician or pickpocket.

In covert hypnosis, it is imperative that the person being hypnotized remain unaware of the hypnosis. If they becomes aware, the spell of the hypnosis is going to be broken. Covert Hypnosis allows the topic to get familiar with the hypnosis, although he or she has no knowledge that she or he is taking part.

Covert Hypnosis works by effectively shutting down the analytical area of the brain. It allows the hypnotist to lure the topic right into a type of trance while still keeping him or her awake and conscious. The topic is going to be lost “in the moment” when he or she is intoxicated by covert hypnosis. Within this state, the mind cannot analyze anything, including basic information such as the subject’s name, age, or location. Although it might appear to be magic, the hypnotist is just taking advantage of an oddity that the mind has evolved: he or she is crossing metaphorical wires in the brain and causing the brain to short-circuit, rendering it temporarily incapable of analytic thought.

They look about questioning is somebody is attempting to hypnotize them, or they contemplate if they’ve abilities to it themselves. Covert Hypnosis. A Walk On The dark Side

February 17th, 2011 by Mark Boardman

The term ‘hypnosis’ is misleading. Hypnosis is derived from a Greek root word meaning sleep and is as much related to sleep as I am to George Bush. When in the hypnotic state you are not asleep, far from it, often your senses become sharpened and you have a deeper concentration and inward focus. The hypnotic state is more frequently referred to as a ‘trance’ and is a state we all enter into many times a day.

When reading a book or viewing a film you set aside belief and actually live this experience. Simultaneously you may be so engrossed, and so focussed on the film that another person might be having a conversation with you and you fail to even notice (or if you are hen-pecked you pretend not to notice.)

Trance is normal, relaxing, wonderful and very useful. With a Hypnotherapist you are guided into the trance in order to resolve your physical or mental issue, and you have given the Hypnotherapist your full cooperation to proceed. The trance you slip in and out of many times daily is a very personal state. Maybe just a daydream as you look out of the window for five minutes while sipping a cup of coffee at your desk.

There’s no doubt in my mind that the individual’s mind has an extraordinary capability to mend itself and the human body. I have seen it personally and know what I am talking about.

However there is a general impression within society still that hypnotherapy is some kind of mind control. This really is vehemently denied by the hypnosis profession and quite right too. Yet….and here’s the rub…I also have no doubt that we (and by ‘we’ I mean everybody, not simply just hypnotists) are in fact able to apply very insidious hypnotic procedures to effect others.

In the hypnotic state you are fully aware and fully in control. You won’t do a single thing that contravenes your ethical code. If, for example, you were on a stage throughout a hypnotic display and the hypnotist asked you to punch another member of the audience then you wouldn’t. Just because you are in a hypnotic trance doesn’t mean that you are out of control. This is an excessive example to illustrate a point, to my knowledge no stage hypnotists would ever do this!

On the other hand if that same hypnotist asks you to walk like a chicken, well then this most likely isn’t something you would typically do in the road obviously, but on a stage show why not! It certainly does not contradict your ethical code and does no damage, not until you see the video anyway.

And this is the point. You could occasionally be lead into conducting an act or doing something you would not ordinarily do if the atmosphere is conducive and the language is permissive. And hypnotism has a significant base in the language and words used. Believe me, salesmen and marketing folk have been using hypnotic techniques, normally probably without knowing, for many years to make us purchase everything from a bag of sweets to a new property.

Hypnosis isn’t new, it isn’t dangerous (quite the opposite – it is an incredibly powerful healing tool) and it isn’t witchcraft. But it can be used in subtle ways without our conscious knowledge. And this could be described as covert hypnosis. Being able to persuade people is a skill some people possess naturally and others can learn, but it is there and it is a skill we all can use. Covert hypnosis exists, but don’t let that worry you!

How To Hypnotize- Do Not Use Conversational Hypnosis Tactics

February 8th, 2011 by Mike Jones

Covert persuasion is a powerful form of mind control that involves a lot more than the questionable techniques being taught in conversational hypnosis home study courses. Conversational hypnosis is only one piece to the intricate puzzle of covert persuasion because conversational hypnosis teaches you nothing about the timeless principles of social dynamics and how social dynamics can be used to control and predict human behavior. Covert hypnosis places a tremendous value upon the power of non verbal suggestion because non verbal suggestion is by far the most effective and practical tool the art of persuasion has to offer.

Non verbal suggestion not only uses a person’s reputation and image as a means to persuade and influence others, it also uses social conditioning to persuade people and to change their decision making processes. Social conditioning takes place when social systems program a group of individuals or a single person to adhere to a certain set of social beliefs or standards. When covert hypnosis uses the processes of social conditioning and combines them into the power of persuasion, this is often referred to as social engineering.

Social engineering is powerful because it has a far larger scope in the power of persuasion than the practice of language. Even when conversations are not taking place, people are still influenced through social engineering. They are persuaded and sometimes even controlled through the power of social engineering even in the absence of the application of any covert influence tactics. This means that conversational hypnosis cannot possibly symbolize the fullness of covert persuasion.

It is true that covert persuasion will use conversational hypnosis if the situation warrants it, but because the situation seldom does warrant the use of conversational hypnosis, covert influence often depends upon social engineering to hypnotize people. The covert hypnosis tactics of social engineering never fail because social engineering takes advantage of the fact that people have already been led to believe the actions you want them to take are in their best interest. When people have already accepted particular things as being true, they can easily be persuaded to take actions that are within the boundaries of what they accept as being true.

The very existence of conversational hypnosis violates what most of us have been conditioned to believe as true because most of us have been taught that it isn’t normal for strangers to just walk up to us and start long, baffling conversations with us. This means that the moment a person is approached by a stranger trying to use conversational hypnosis, that the conversational hypnotist has already began the persuasion process the wrong way. If they have started the persuasion process the wrong way, it goes without saying they are likely to finish it the wrong way. There are different types of hypnosis, so there are distinct ways you must learn to hypnotize people in unique situations.

Find out how to hypnotize people in practical ways that are much more powerful than what you are taught in conversational hypnosis programs. Ericksonian hypnosis is not a practical form of hypnosis to use outside of clinical settings. Download your free persuasion CD now!

Hypnosis Secrets–Using Mind Control Hypnosis To Change Someone’s Free Will

January 19th, 2011 by David Drake

The hypnosis tactics of mind control hypnosis differ in many ways from the hypnosis secrets that are being used for the purposes of therapy. The type of hypnosis that is used for therapy has a lot to do with the fact you have obtained the person’s consent to hypnotize them. Obviously, the person whom you would be hypnotizing would also know that you were trying to hypnotize them. Mind control hypnosis is entirely different.

Although many hypnotist do not believe a person can be hypnotized to do something against their free will, there are still a lot of high ranking hypnotist who do believe this is possible. For example, Dr. Jonathan Groves has been teaching for years that it is possible to hypnotize people to do things against their own free will. The way this is done is by simply changing what a person’s free will is. You expand their code of conduct in order to create leverage that you can use to get them to do extra things that they typically wouldn’t do. Another common way hypnotist get people to do things against their own will is by generating artificial needs within a person that only the hypnotist can fulfill through artificial forms of satisfaction.

This is most often observed in sales when the salesman creates an artificial need in a potential customer for a product that he is attempting to sell. Each day, people are purchasing products that they don’t actually need. This means that it is possible to hypnotize a person to do something against their own will. If a person walks into a store with the predetermination not to spend any money, and yet ends up spending money, it should be evident that they were persuaded to make a decision that was against their own will because the customer had already predetermined not to spend any money.

If you can persuade a person to do something against their own free will, then you can easily hypnotize a person to do something against their own free will by simply expanding the scope of their free will to the point where the boundaries of their free will changes. All you need to do is create a need within the person whom you are influencing that only you or the solutions you are offering can fulfill.

An additional way that you can change a person’s free will is by putting indirect pressure on them through some basic and yet powerful principles of social dynamics that have the power to reshape a person’s free will within seconds. Mind control hypnosis often will employ some type of indirect pressure so that you can always fly under the radar as a covert hypnotist. Hypnosis secrets should always be covert and indirect, particularly when you are doing powerful things like altering a person’s free will.

Covert Persuasion Is Not Conversational Hypnosis

January 17th, 2011 by David Drake

Covert hypnosis is a powerful type of hypnosis that involves a lot more than the questionable tactics being taught in conversational hypnosis home study courses. Conversational hypnosis is only one piece to the intricate puzzle of covert persuasion because conversational hypnosis teaches you nothing about the timeless principles of social dynamics and how social dynamics can be used to predict and control human behavior. This means that conversational hypnosis cannot possibly embody the fullness of covert persuasion.

Now, whilst it is true that covert persuasion will use conversational hypnosis if the circumstances are right, it is equally as true that the circumstances seldom permit an opportunity for conversational hypnosis to be practiced. Social engineering strategies never fail because they take advantage of the fact that people have already accepted certain things as being true. When people have already accepted certain things as being true, they can effortlessly be influenced to take actions that are within the boundaries of what they accept as being true.

Even the existence of conversational hypnosis is in violation to what many people understand as being true because most people have been led to believe not to talk to strangers. Covert Hypnosis Power– The Insurance Game

January 10th, 2011 by Mark Thomas

Covert hypnosis influences and persuades other people through social engineering. One of the most powerful tools covert hypnosis uses to do this is referred to in the underground as The Insurance Game. The Insurance Game consist of a diversity of persuasion tactics that were scientifically put together to provide people with the capability to obtain leverage in all of their social interactions.

A basic variety of The Insurance Game that has become well known in the covert hypnosis community is referred to as The Law Of Consistency. The Law Of Consistency states that when we do someone a favor, that they’ll feel obligated to do us a favor in return. So, by utilizing The Law Of Consistency, a persuasion artist is playing part of The Insurance Game because by doing things for people that seem to be in their best interest, you are piling up Insurance in your social interactions with them that will continue to provide you with the upper hand.

Now, you must know for certain that The Law Of consistency is merely brushing the surface of The Insurance Game. As I have said earlier, The Insurance Game is a group of persuasion tactics that are all calculated to do the exact same thing in different ways. All of these persuasion techniques were designed and put together to give you leverage. Many persuasion artists use The Insurance Game for different reasons and for different purposes, but no matter how varied the uses of The Insurance Game are, it is still the same game being played.

Social dynamics demand that covert hypnosis practitioners possess several different skill sets that are related to human behavior. We must master how to begin social interactions, how to maintain social interactions in so that we can steer them in the directions we want them to go in, and we must also understand how to finish each social interaction. Learning each phase and each piece of a social interaction is fundamental in order for anybody to play The Insurance Game. You can not successfully play The Insurance Game unless you first know that the arts of persuasion and influence are built upon the concepts and theories of relationships. Every social interaction that you have with a person is part of a specific relationship cycle that you are having with the person you happen to be communicating with. What this means is The Insurance Game is part of an emotional progression model that already exists within the minds of other people before any social interactions ever take place. Why? Because no matter how successful of a hypnotist or persuasion artist you are, no matter how many language patterns or covert hypnosis techniques you may know of, the person whom you are seeking to persuade has previously been socially conditioned to believe in certain things and to obey certain suggestions.

So, it is by knowing the progression models that exist within our social interactions that give us the ability to totally control them. Within the teachings of The Insurance Game, this teaches you the secret to mastering covert hypnosis strategies is understanding that persuasion is a process that occurs through a relationship, and that there are building blocks of relationships that you can add and subtract to increase your influence and power within your relationships.

Covert hypnosis, then, is empowered through The Insurance Game because your understanding and insight of how others communicate protects you if you make errors or if something goes wrong during the persuasion process. Wisdom is like a shield in covert hypnosis, and The Insurance Game can help you win conflicts before they actually begin.

Hypnosis Power–Two Simple Ways To Soften Hypnotic Suggestions

December 12th, 2010 by David Drake

Hypnotic mind control uses the power of suggestion to persuade and influence people. One of the major reasons why mind control hypnosis can employ the power of suggestion so easily and powerfully is because it reveals to you how to make your suggestions sound so innocent and soft that people wont have the desire to resist them. When you soften a suggestion surrounded by a sentence, there only needs to be a small fraction of the sentence that serves as the actual softener of the suggestion that you suggesting to someone. The reason why this is such an ideal way to persuade and influence other people is because by making your suggestions appear softer, in reality what you’re doing is making your suggestions more influential.

If you want to learn how to soften suggestions inside sentences, you first need to acquaint yourself with some conventional strategies that are used in mind control hypnosis that will enable you to do this naturally so that what you are doing will fly totally under the radar. The two most common hypnosis techniques that are used to soften suggestions are time constraints and language softeners.

If you want to soften suggestions that are embedded in simple sentences, language softeners are excellent tools that will enable you to do this. A language softener merely softens a suggestion or an instruction to the point where it doesn’t appear to be a suggestion or an instruction. Language softeners come in a variety of forms, and we often see them being used in the form of a question. Let us take a look at how you can use a language softener to disguise a suggestion:

“Could you take a moment to give me your full attention?”

Now, notice the opening phrase of the sentence, “could you take a moment”, sets up the actual suggestion in the sentence, “give me your full attention”. Notice how much more softer and covert this is than if you said,

“Give me your full attention”.

Needless to say, you are far more likely to get what you want from someone when you combine language softeners into your suggestions. Another thing that you will notice in this sentence, “Could you take a moment to give me your full attention”, is that there is a time constraint built into it also because all I did was ask them for, “a moment”. This is yet another tool you can use to make your suggestion more powerful. Time constraints are part of what disguised hypnosis refers to as “time distortion”.

Time constraints are potent tools that you can use to decrease any resistance people may have to your suggestions. If a person is led to believe that, “it will only take a moment” for them to do what you are asking them to do, they’ll be far more likely to obey you.

Uncover the most stunning and shocking persuasion secrets that were ever invented. This is the most powerful type of mind control hypnosis currently being taught by covert hypnosis masters. Download your free hypnosis CD now to see the wisdom in this program for yourself!

Conversational Hypnosis–Why It Differs From Covert Persuasion

December 6th, 2010 by David Drake

Conversational hypnosis uses severalcomplex language techniques to plant suggestions inside of a person’sunconscious mind. Although this may appear like an appealing way to go about influencing and persuading a person, the fact remains that this is the main reason why conversational hypnosis is in a lot of ways unrelated to covert persuasion because it can take days, weeks, and even months for the person to act upon the suggestions that you have installed in their unconscious mind.

What this means is once the person feels influenced to obey you, that either they may not have access to you or you may not have access to them. For instance, what if you used conversational hypnosis during a vacation on somebody of the opposite sex and planted suggestions inside their mind that they will become attracted to you, and if by the time the person whom you were using conversational hypnosis on starts to feel the urge to act out your suggestions, they have returned to their home that is thousands of miles away from you? The point is that not only does it take an extremely long time to master conversational hypnosis, it also can take a long time to have any effect on the person whom you have hypnotized.

This means that conversational hypnosis is essentially only a small part of what we refer to today as covert persuasion. Covert persuasion does at times combine the principles of conversational hypnosis into its secrets if the circumstances demands it, but covert persuasion never has and never will fully rely upon the use of language to influence and persuade people.

Covert hypnosis mainly utilizes what is known as social engineering. Social engineering is employed through various social strategies that exist within the art of persuasion to erase the resistance of other people so that you can easily get what you want. One of the major advantages of understanding social engineering is that you will realize the ease of the persuasion process. A politician does not win an election by using complex language patterns. Rather, time and time again politicians use social engineering to put themselves into positions of power. Campaigns are far more strategic than they are linguistic. This is exactly why you have most likely noticed how quite a few politicians with poor language skills were still able to achieve a very high social status.

As far as the art of persuasion is concerned, conversational hypnosis is not part of the equation. The people who deny this are the same people who have been incapable to use conversational hypnosis to acquire a position power or to get a better job. With conversational hypnosis and language patterns, it just will not happen. The reason why is it so vital for those practicing covert hypnosis to understand this is because what we do not practice is equally vital as to what we do practice.

If you want to attain the heights of power and greatness, if you want to be able to influence and persuade other people in real life scenarios, conversational hypnosis is not the style of hypnosis that will help you. Only the disguised types of hypnosis can be applied towards covert persuasion.

Discover the most powerful covert persuasion tactics ever invented. These powerful concepts of social engineering are far more practical and effective than the complicated techniques taught in conversational hypnosis.
