Stage hypnosis was invented for entertainment purposes and not for the purpose of persuasion. This means that it is difficult to use stage hypnosis in such a way where you can use it in real life situations to hypnotize people. This is what makes The Art Of Covert Hypnosis so good, because it teaches you stage hypnosis tactics in a practical way that helps you effectively hypnotize others.

However, there are some disappointments with this program.For one, there is the same recycled information of Ericksonian Hypnosis and NLP that you can find in any other course. This means there is some information in this program that you can get for free. I felt this extra information was added to the program to make the curriculum more broad than it needed to be. Yet, its not like this extra information was bad, it was just redundant to include in a recent hypnosis program when almost every other hypnosis program in the past has already covered those topics of Ericksonian Hypnosis and NLP.

Yet, even though there are some drawbacks to this program, it can’t be denied that the author of this hypnosis course does teach some exceptionally valuable information about stage hypnosis. This useful information about stage hypnosis is not covered in any other hypnosis course that we have reviewed, so its definitely worth the investment because you will be learning things in this course that you can not learn anywhere else.

The conclusion of this hypnosis review for the art of covert hypnosis is that the art of covert hypnosis home study program is a tad bit pricey because it does have a little fluff in it, but the benefits of knowing the programs teachings on stage hypnosis make the program worth while. Indirect suggestion is a different path you can take to successfully persuade people. The only major problem with indirect suggestions is that it may take time for the indirect suggestions to take root in the person’s mind to the point where the person you have given the indirect suggestions to starts to act upon them. If the person whom you are persuading is not around you when they feel the desire to act upon your suggestions, then it is impossible for them to obey you.

The best route to go about the art of suggestion, then, is to combine both direct and indirect suggestions into one fluid force so that you can benefit from the power that comes from using both of them. This is often done in the sales process, where the sales person is indirect for most of the social interaction he has with a customer, but then at the very end of the sales process the sales person gives the customer a call to action to purchase the products or services they are offering.

You can also use the persuasive tactics of pacing and leading to combine indirect suggestions with direct suggestions. In theory, each time you pace someone, your pacing statements are indirect suggestions that set up your leading statements. Leading statements are direct suggestions, but because you take the time to pace the person before you begin to lead them, your leading statements will not appear offensive and are likely to be followed.

In time, you will be able to use many more leading statements. This means the longer you are in the process of persuading someone, the greater the opportunity will be for you to be more and more direct.
