How To Turbo Charge Your Intelligence With Subconscious Mind Power

April 17th, 2012 by Xavier J. Murphy

Increasing your brain power is a simple task once you know hot how to apply our subconscious mind power. Your subconscious mind is incredibly powerful, yet very few people know how to tap into it for any significant result. After you finish reading this article, you’ll be able to easily increase your emotional intelligence, your social IQ, your business acumen, and any other intelligence you care to dream up.

First of all, what is intellect? Sure, there are IQ tests you can take, but they have been around for many, many years. They were fashioned before scientists even realized that there were diverse kinds of intelligences. Even within the numerous different intelligences, some suppose that it is only possible to have definite areas of intelligence, and not others. For example, those that are skilled in the arts may assume that they can’t also be similarly skilled in arithmetic and science. This is absolutely incorrect.

As B.F Skinner said, every kid is born a genius, but 99,99% of us are “de-geniused” by the time we grow up. And where does this de-geniusing take place? Schools. When we go to school, we are exactly required to contemplate using one or maybe two types of intelligences. This has a striking effect on stunting our intellectual development. The lucky news is that through the everyday treatment of focused meditation, you can easily make best use of your subconscious mind power to turbocharge the power of your brain to wizard levels.

There are more than a few mind power techniques, and this is most certainly the simplest, and the most efficient. It requires little time for you to substantially improve mind power. Were you to take any aptitude test before and after a couple of weeks of this easy practice, you would naturally see an apparent improvement.

So, what’s the technique? Simple. You’ll need to develop a declaration of your intelligence, and a strong feeling associated with it. Just think back to whenever you had one of those “AHA!” moments. Feel that singular feeling while you silently and leisurely say your announcement to yourself. If this is the first time, it helps to focus on one area of intellect, like art, or math, or social intelligence. Create a set of statements that describe your ideal state of affairs concerning your emotional intelligence, business intelligence, or whatever other intelligence you’d like to improve.

Then locate a quiet place to sit back and calm down. Take a few yawning breaths, close your eyes, and free all thoughts, all doubts, all fears. Release all thoughts about the past or the future. Focus only on the present. Paying close concentration to your breath is an ideal way to do this. Once you are in that sluggish, tired state of mind, begin to slowly and softly say your mantra, or your set of statements regarding your ideal intelligence.

While you are making you statements, get that “AHA!” feeling, and keep it for as long as possible. If your mind drifts, merely bring it back by remembering a time when you had a productive breakthrough, or you exercised your aptitude in a particularly enjoyable fashion. The more passion you bring to bear, the faster this will work.

Do this two or three times a day (before sleeping and upon awakening are best), and begin to observe the increase in your brainpower. Once you start to become convinced in this technique, you can switch to other intelligences. Social intelligence, scientific and mathematical intelligence, or any other specific area you can think of. Even ones that you can produce on your own, that can be particular to your line of work or whatever kind of project you are working on.

Keep this up, and you’ll accomplish your concealed wizard potential in no time.

Relieve Stress in 9 Minutes

March 24th, 2012 by Genviev Bernard

Where do you get your stress? Family? Work? Money? Yourself? All of the above?

How much of your stress is from today, and how much is past experiences? You probably know what I mean by this, but the answer is not always easy figure out.

You are aware that managing and reducing stress can prevent lots of problems. Problems with health, sleep, poor diet potential addiction, and more. Stopping these problems before they start is just smart.

You know you would not choose to have trouble sleeping well or problems with your blood pressure. But, choosing to ignore your stress level is almost like that.

Some people with high stress look to avoid the discomfort by looking for pleasure to cover it. Things like watching TV, movies, medications, smoking and other addictions.

Many people think medication is the only alternative, and try to avoid that. If there were a simple, clinically studied and proven method to relieve stress, would you use it?

Of course you would, if it really works.

You’ve probably watched a movie or television to relax. Does it really help? Probably most of the time you’re watching it you feel relatively more relaxed. Something else to focus on and think about? But there really isn’t much “thinking” going on… it just helps you make a more relaxed state of mind.

Many people go through great lengths and complicated processes to achieve this state of mind. Creative visualization, meditation, yoga, deep prayer, etc…

All of these examples technically achieve a mental state of hypnosis. With a little practice, it is very easy to get this hyper focused state. Like when you’re involved in reading a book, or on the phone.

You are in a different states of hypnosis many times during a normal day. To hypnotize yourself on purpose, with the purpose of reducing stress, is easy and shown to be very effective.

There are medical clinical studies in the National Library of Medicine you can research on www.pubmed.gov.

Physical and mental stress relief of over 50% is possible in under 10 minutes. Honest.

Getting help from an appropriately trained hypnotist or using a quality self-hypnosis audio to reduce general stress are perfect alternatives. They have a higher rate of long-term success than medication and hypnosis has no potential for side-effects.

Note: Even though hypnosis has been an approved by the American Medical Association since 1958, it does not replace conventional medicine.

Feeling Frazzled-Managing Stress the Easy Way

March 21st, 2012 by Patrick Glancy

Cranky, gloomy, irritable, poor work performance, sleep deprived and moody are just a few ways to describe a stressed out person. Stress can cause many problems with people both physically and emotionally. There are many causes of stress and many different reactions to stress and it is important to look at both of those.

Stress, many people think of this as a “dirty word” and some think of it as an excuse to act poorly. Stress can be caused by many things, financial problems, marital problems or it could be caused from a happy event such as a wedding, children or going on vacation. Stress is about perception. What is stressful for one may not be for another. Many times we blow things out of proportion and therefore causing more unnecessary stress in our lives. Stress does not have to be caused from something bad in ones life. However stress, whether good or bad can lead to other very serious problems.

Stress has been linked to medical problems such as chronic headaches, age acceleration, lower immune system, heart attacks, chronic body aches, depression and stomach problems. Many people under stress are also short tempered, tense, anxious and jumpy. The list of medical problems from stress goes on and on.

The good news is stress is manageable. By learning to manage stress, you will find that you look forward to meeting new people, regain your sense of humor and self confidence. You will also find you are more relaxed, calmer, and have increased energy. You may even find renewed excitement with recreational activities and have more independence.

Stress is all about perception. What is stressful for one may not be for another. When learning to cope with stress, you must look at perception as well. Many times we blow things way out of proportion and therefore causing more unnecessary stress in our lives. Some think of stress is caused from bad things in peoples? lives such as financial issues or marriage problems, however often stress can be caused from something happy such as a wedding or children.

Some people manage stress through a counselor, medications and others turn to hypnosis. Since there are so many different treatments and options for stress management, it is important to research all aspects of the treatments to decide what is right for you.

Hypnosis can help with stress management through many avenues. It allows you to change your response to stress and help address what triggers stress in your mind. You will find you are calmer, relaxed and more rational. Your body will be more relaxed, your breathing more steady which will calm your mind. All of this will help fight tension from stress which can cause chronic medical problems. It will also allow you to address the behaviors you have while experiencing stress such as anger or frustration and help you to remain calm in these situations.

Chances are you will always have stress in your life but it does not have to rule your life. There are options out there and it is up to you to make the best decision for YOU. Stress is not good for anyone, you, your family or friends. The time has come for you to make a choice.

Quit Smoking and Finding the Right Hypnosis for the Job

March 20th, 2012 by Genviev Martin Bernard

A quality quit smoking hypnosis session can look a little complicated, if done correctly. A behavior modification process addressing a variety of aspects in your life. The nice part is you don?t have to worry about putting it together. It’s all done for you. You?re left with the job of using it to help yourself.

You’re the only one that knows what it’s like to experience and fight with your cravings. The cravings may very well feel like something nobody else can understand.

A well formed hypnosis program can address your unique cravings directly. It can de-fuse the emotional triggers so they no longer happen. If you’ve fought with smoking long enough, it might be difficult to even imagine what it would feel like to NOT have a craving.

That’s good, and it can be even better. Why not use the same learning principles behind the smoking habit creation and use hypnosis to begin cravings or desires for water, exercise and fresh air? Then prepare some distractions to occupy your time and mind. The time you used to use smoking. At 5 to 10 minutes per cigarette, that time adds up. Some people would be satisfied with this much help. But, more is possible.

How about that daily stress that wants to be relieved? If you can’t smoke to relieve it, what to do? Let’s use hypnosis to relieve your stress too? Sounds good.

Your level of confidence is something to boost with hypnosis. And, not just your general sense of confidence. What can likely use some confidence building is the belief that you CAN quit smoking this time. That this time is different than previous times. (One of the ways you learn beliefs is repetition. It’s very possible this is not your first attempt to quit smoking. Having previously tried and failed, has that repetition created a belief in your mind that this time will fail? Better use hypnosis to patch that up.)

Might as well use some hypnosis to strengthen healthy eating habits too. So you can rest easy that you’re not going to balloon while you stop smoking. Simply knowing you’ve covered this angle too should make you feel relaxed.

How does this sound to you? Does this cover all the concerns you had about quitting? Does it cover concerns you hadn’t thought of? The help is available the rest is up to you.

What You Remember and How You Act

March 20th, 2012 by Genviev Martin Bernard

You know you can think of happy memories and feel the happy emotion, if you let yourself. Just like you can think of a scary or sad memory and feel that emotion.

There is obviously a close connection between our emotions and memories. Almost as if the emotion is part of the memory. Our memories are always in our minds so it makes sense that the emotions in our memories can constantly have an effect on how we feel.

This can cause psychiatric disorders such as post-traumatic stress and depression. It can also cause more basic disruption in your life like fears, phobias and high stress.

Medication commonly prescribed for relief of these issues, but it only attempts to address the ’symptoms’ rather than address the cause. The problem is rarely ‘fixed’ with medication.

The key to long term help with these issues would appear to be the emotional association with the memory. What would happen if that association could be erased, reduced or even changed?

There is research using a medication called propranolol that can be used as an “amnesia drug”. The purpose is to directly disrupt the connection between our memories and the emotions they are associated with.

This study, in the Journal of Psychiatric Research, talks about psychiatrists at McGill University and Harvard University using the amnesia drug to disrupt the memories of trauma victims. The drug reduces the emotional part of the memory while leaving the conscious part of the memory.

With this process, people still have the memory, but the emotion is reduced or detached. The potential problems with this process, such as permanence or side effects, are not known.

There are other ways to reduce and change the emotion connected to memories. Other processes that are well tested, well established and without side-effects.

Specifically hypnosis. Proper hypnosis seems more effective for this process since, when you are in hypnosis, you are using the emotional portion of your mind. This is especially true with memories containing strong emotion from childhood. When experiencing memories from childhood will generally ‘feel’ the age you were when you created the memory.

When using modern hypnosis to re-experience a traumatic memory, the hypnotist needs to be properly trained for the process to be quick and effective. When these conditions are met, the client can experience the memory with the perspective of adulthood. This alone will often reduce or negate the emotions involved.

Working with issues with these methods are about updating perceptions, and beliefs. Not just in a conscious way, but also in a subconscious, feeling way.

Sports Improvement-No More Freak Outs

February 23rd, 2012 by Genviev Martin Bernard

Every athlete, in every sport gets nervous before a game or has a game day superstition. Some of the questions running through their minds are, what if we lose, what if I mess up, or worse injury! These thoughts become so powerful and can take over a players mind. No one wants to say they had a bad game. Everyone wants to be at their physical and mental best while performing, however sometimes this is difficult to achieve without help.

Often we set ourselves up for failure in sports when we begin to think of our flaws. For instance, a basketball player might feel too short or not fast enough. Being short may be true, but this should not effect how you play the game. Not every basketball player is tall, but if you know how to play the game, this will help you. If you are not fast enough, this is something that can be fixed, through both physical workouts and mental workouts. By identifying what limits you mentally to be slow, you can then become physically fast. It could possibly be a memory you had that is holding you back, or maybe a learned behavior. If someone continues to tell you that you are too slow, you begin to believe you are. Over coming this belief alone can be difficult.

Most sports are not games of luck. A baseball player doesn’t hit 5 home runs in a row because he was lucky, he is focused. If you are not in that zone, it is hard to perform at your best. Often there are outside pressures that influence an athlete?s performance such as pressure from coaches, fans or parents, a loud negative person in the stands, or maybe you simply psyched yourself out before the game even started by worrying you would have a bad game. Identifying what makes you lose focus, and learning new tricks to keep you in the zone. You can become not lucky, but focused.

Bang, the gun goes off, swimmers away. Swimming has some luck to it, but ultimately it is all about the skill, not who got a lucky call which it true of many other sports. If you can learn to improve your skill level mentally, the physical improvements will follow which will allow you to create your own luck. By learning visual and mental cues, you can teach your body how to be on point and improve your skill level. When your mind has powerful successes they become easier to recreate on the court during the game.

To truly be called and athlete you must love not only the game but yourself and your team. All of these things build a better, stronger, more valuable athlete. If you are constantly worrying about how you did in the game or how bad your team mate is then you are doing yourself and team a disservice. If you were always told how bad you are a something or how if you teammate would have just passed you the ball you could have won, you are allowing these experiences to take over the game. Once you learn how to deal with these feelings and memories, you will be an amazing athlete.

Sure you can work out at the gym for hours on end to improve your skills, or you can try to focus on something else during the game, but you have not really dealt with the issue. Hypnosis is one way of achieving all of these things and more. It will identify what skills you have hidden deep down and how to develop the new and old skills with a new positive energy, which replaces the negative. You will learn how to focus your energy on the game instead of an obnoxious fan or coach. All of these things are distractions and they can hinder your progress as an athlete. While under hypnosis your mind is more relaxed and open to suggestions, you will not longer have the feeling you are sabotaging yourself you will be an unstoppable athlete.

Sports, at any level should above all be fun. You should not have to experience a worthless, anxious, or distracted feeling before you begin a game. Sure you can try other things but there is no reason to try those things when there is one blanket treatment for it. You know what works for you and your lifestyle, make your choice, but make an informed choice.

Anxiety – How Hypnosis Can Help

February 22nd, 2012 by Genviev Martin Bernard

According to WebMD and a poll taken by the American Psychological Association, there is more stress today than five years ago. Over 54% of people feel anxiety over financial issues such as rent or mortgage payments specifically, but also worry about work, and problem management. Stress and anxiety are both a state of mind. How you deal with stress and anxiety are completely up to you. Some manage anxiety well while others do not know how to manage their feelings. In order to manage anxiety, you will need help, it is difficult to do alone.

First you must identify what your stress and anxiety triggers are. The holidays are a good example of a less obvious stress. One person might look at the holidays as a nice fun experience and enjoy making a large dinner for fifteen people. Another person might look at this same situation and have a panic attack. Other causes of stress and anxiety are obvious such as losing a job or having no money.

Next you must identify what reaction you have to these triggers. Some people eat when they are stressed or nervous, while others drink or smoke. Maybe you get irritable or cry often. Whatever your reactions to high levels of anxiety are, it is important to identify them and understand why you react this way.

Learning about both triggers and behaviors are key to your success. Without identifying them or learning to manage your anxiety levels, you can have serious problems. Not only does anxiety and stress cause heart attacks, high blood pressure and ulcers it can also cause other things you may not think of. For example, chronic headaches, acne, teeth grinding, and make you more prone to illness such as a cold or flu. Your personal life can be affected as well. Your abilities to manage a family crisis, reach goals and perform well are work are also diminished.

There are different ways of managing anxiety levels, medications, counseling and support groups are the most common. However, there is a new treatment being used on many with great success, hypnosis. Hypnosis works with the subconscious mind which will allow you to uncover hidden triggers that are not obvious or often thought of. You will also learn to manage your response to certain stresses through deep levels of relaxation.

Some people feel other more traditional approaches to anxiety treatment should be consulted first. However, medications only deal with the chemical reactions in the brain at the time of high stress levels. Counseling and support groups can be a challenge for most people and their busy lives. It is difficult to make every support group meeting and also difficult to open yourself up to a complete stranger when you are thinking on a conscious level. Since hypnosis does not use chemicals and works with the subconscious mind, you are able to get the full benefits of the treatment and work through your issues privately.

Those who suffer from anxiety know how difficult situations can be and how frustrating it is to suffer from this condition. You have taken then first step in your treatment, you are acknowledged you have a problem and want to fix it, now here is the most difficult part, deciding what treatment is right for you. Now it is time to get going on your research. While you are doing so, think about what is important and most nurturing for you. You want to make sure whatever treatment you go with, you are getting all you can out of it, hypnosis will allow for all of that and more.

Stress is something just about everyone has in their lives. Stress can come from many different things, work, family or finances just to name a few. Being stressed can cause many health problems ranging from a common cold to a heart attack. Learning how to manage your stress is a key component in leading a healthy and happy life. Hypnosis can help you accomplish your goal in many ways.

You know how you feel when you are stressed out. Maybe your pulse races, maybe your chest feels tight or maybe you feel like you are carrying the weight of the world on your shoulders. Many times stress can feel unmanageable and just this thought can add additional stress to your life and body. Hypnosis allows your mind and body to relax and regroup. Hypnosis can give you the tools to learn how to not only control stress while you are having a session, but also tools you can use everyday.

Different situations can trigger stress, those triggers can be anything. Some get stressed out before a speech or before a doctor?s appointment. Other times the trigger can center around financial issues or family problems. It is vital to understand what these triggers are and how to address them when the need arises. Hypnosis can allow you to feel more in control of these triggers and more relaxed when faced with them.

Behavior modification is unique as it helps with multiple issues instead of just one issue at a time. People show stress through different actions such as anger, aggression, anxiety, or helplessness. While learning to control the triggers of stress you can also learn how to control the response to stress.

Being healthy is something we all want to be. No one wants to be sick or have medical problems. Everyone wants to live a long and happy life. Having stress in your life can make these things impossible to have. Being stressed out can make people turn to alcohol or drugs to help them cope, many start to gain weight or lose weight, many start to smoke or lose confidence in themselves. Behavior modification can help in all of these areas. You will learn special techniques to help with all of the issues you want to address.

Hypnosis is unique in that it works immediately and will be long lasting which will help you be successful in your stress management goal. You will notice your breathing and pulse rates will become lower as well as your blood pressure just in your first session. Long term you will learn self hypnosis techniques that will allow you to relax on command.

Stress is something we all have to learn how to deal with. It is something which can affect our daily lives and relationships. Weight Loss-It Is Time for a Change

February 15th, 2012 by Genviev Martin Bernard

No one wants to worry about what goes into their mouth every minute of ever day, where?s the fun in that? You are not alone in your battle to lose weight. Many Americans deal with being over weight on a daily basis and stress out over it. Weight loss should not be an annoying experience but rather a happy one.

Some people crave certain foods, and sometimes those foods are bad for you. You know what you like to eat and you know not all of it is good. You know what challenges you face on a daily basis with your eating habits. Often people have emotional and confidence associations with food, it is time for that to be changed.

Hypnosis can also help make it even easier for you to begin having cravings for healthy things such as exercise and drinking more water. Just knowing you this is possible will help put your mind at ease and allow the process to be more successful.

Anyone with a weight problem has some problem areas. Areas that if they had true control of, they would not have a weight problem. When you now longer fight with yourself for control, you have success.

Food can often carry an emotional attachment for some people. Some eat when they are sad or reward themselves through food. This becomes a habit, often as a result of repetition. Because of this repetition you learn a ?behavior?, this can be an obstacle for successful weight loss.

You know what you like to eat and you know not all of it is good. You know what makes your craving certain foods more than others. You know what challenges you face on a daily basis with your eating habits. Often people have emotional associations with food, this can be changed, let go of those associations.

As I mentioned before, some people think weight loss is stressful, and it can be, but not it you address the stress head on. With hypnosis you can gain a more relaxed state of mind for many aspects of your life. Losing weight should be something you are happy about, not something that makes you feel stress.

Hypnosis can help you on your path to weight loss in all of these areas. Losing weight is never easy, but with hypnosis it can be a much more positive experience. You have all the tools to achieve you goals, now you just have to do it.

Stress is Funny

February 12th, 2012 by Genviev Martin Bernard

Stress is a funny thing. Stress can motivate you to achieve more than you believed possible. Stress can also ruin your health and sometimes even your life.

It depends on how much stress you have and what kinds of stress. It also depends on what your past has taught you – how your mind has learned to deal with stress.

The biological signs of stress are meant to help you physically survive. In your world, this is rarely helpful, since most stress today is psychological.

Mental stress will come from issues such as concern about money, relationships, and your health. Your body’s physical reaction to stress does not help these situations. Since these situations are common and long-lasting, your body can potentially be in a constant state of stress.

This is what causes stress related health problems as varied as headaches, insomnia, trouble thinking clearly, depression and digestion problems. Health problems from stress eventually just increases the stress you already have.

Common sense tells you that managing your stress is important. There are all kinds of people and companies that will offer advice, products and services to help your stress. If every option worked the same for everyone, that would not be a problem. But, we’re all different. What works for your friend, may not work for you.

I believe it will help you find your appropriate stress management tools by becoming more aware of what creates your stress and how you experience it.

It helps to decide if your stress is from situations or behaviors – Is your stress in proportion to the current situations or does it feel blown out of proportion? It may not be easy to figure this part out on your own.

If it is situational, what are the causes and can they be addressed in a practical manner? Is it realistic to expect yourself to get some form of exercise and a proper diet? (I know from personal experience, if I have high stress it is when my life is too busy to work-out or get to the grocery store for planned meals)

If it is behavioral, spending some time looking at the situation analytically may help. Look at your past and see if it is affecting your present, such as memories of past emotional trauma. (The stronger the emotion, the more vivid the memory. The more vivid the memory, the stronger the stress you will continue to feel from it.)

After getting a better understanding of your stress, you will have a better idea of how to manage it.

Situational stress is easier to figure out and will eventually be behind you. Behavioral stress may require outside help to get through. But, it IS possible, and IS worth accomplishing.

If you have a behavioral stress controlling your life, seek professional help. Medication is sometimes an answer, though many people that have used medication for stress, experience side effects that are a trade-off. They sometimes say they would rather feel stressed than live in a daily fog of medication.

Explore and educate yourself about your options. Then, make use of them. When it comes to improving your life, the only poor choice is to not try.
